      Dear Paul,

Thank you so much for your comment! Please come and see us anytime. We have most of our new rooms up now and I trust you will be well pleased. The rooms are gorgeous!

We have made some wonderful changes throughout the hotel, including the Saddle & Spur Lounge and the El Conquistador Dining Room; and it has been a true joy for all of us involved.

We have many things to do yet to restore the Gadsden back to her original glory, but we are diligently working on it.

Paul, we really do look forward to welcoming you to the Gadsden- come and see us soon!

      Kindest Regards,

I travel to Douglas twice yearly and I love the Gadsden. Anything that preserves this unique place I support, even price increases. There is something special about Gadsden. I can’t wait to watch the episode!

Your grand old Hotel certainly is beautiful. I just wanted to say that I thought that Anthony Melchiorri went just a *little* overboard when he found out about the fire alarm system simply being turned off. I actually felt sorry for Robin, the General Manager at the time. For someone who said that he didn’t want to beat her up, he certainly did a good job of it. At any rate, I wish the best for you and the hotel, and I’m sure he meant well. Good luck, and like I said, your hotel certainly is a beautiful landmark. John Roosa
